Woman charged with attempted murder of Armley man

A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was rushed to hospital with a chest wound in Armley.
Police and ambulance were called to a report of a domestic incident at a house in Brentwood Grove at about 3.30am on Friday, April 25.

At the address they found a 40-year-old local man bleeding from a wound to the chest.

After emergency treatment at the scene, the man was taken to hospital where he later underwent surgery.

Although still detained in hospital at the weekend, his life is not believed to be in danger.

A 39-year-old woman was charged with attempted murder and has been remanded in custody for a week by Leeds magistrates court.
