Armley electronics firm Farnell has been getting on its bike to do its bit for the community.
The firm, was the major sponsor for the 2008 Great Yorkshire Bike Ride, the 25th anniversary of the popular event.

The company provided refreshments for the 1,850 cyclists who made the 70 mile journey form Wetherby to Filey last week.

Among the cyclists were a team from Farnell who helped raise money for charities Martin House Children's Hospice, Disability Action Yorkshire and Ryedale MENCAP.

Almost 30,000 cyclists have taken part in the ride since it began 25 years ago.
