Powergen have teamed up with Armley Helping Hands to help older people in the community become more energy efficient and save money.
The energy supplier provided the charity with 2,000 low energy light bulbs and 450 PowerDown plugs to distribute to older people.
Phil Biddle, head of energy efficiency at Powergen, said: "Our work with charities like Armley Helping Hands gets energy saving measures directly to the people who need it the most so they can benefit from the advantages of being energy efficient."
The low energy bulbs and PowerDown plugs will help older people cut their fuel bills.
Dawn Newsome, project manager at Armley Helping Hands, said: "We're delighted to be able to offer real practical help to those who wish to become more energy efficient in their homes."
