Organisers Pudsey Carnival are calling on local residents to offer them their ideas.
They want people to let them know what they would like to see at the event in May.
The committee are also on the look-out for people with a bit of spare time on their hands who would be willing to help out at the event to make sure it is a success.
If anyone is interested in putting their ideas forward the carnival committee will be holding their annual general meeting on December 23 at Pudsey Leisure Centre at 7pm.
People who would like to offer their time and help towards the event are also welcome to attend.
Organiser Mo Harrison said that the group are also looking for people to join the carnival committee.
She said: "We need people to come and join in and help us to make sure that next year's event will be a success.
"We need ideas and we want people to come forward to help us."
The committee are also appealing to businesses that are willing to provide vehicles for carnival floats to also come forward.
Guidance will be provided to help drivers and organisers decorating the floats.
If anyone would like to offer their ideas or help they should contact Mo on (0113) 2579641.
